I’ve been writing this album forever now since 2017. Learning new song writing tricks as I go. My situation does not allow me access to much other than a 2009 laptop, a cheap mic interface and some old synth plug ins. I used to produce on a drum machine but it broke. I keep unintentionally killing my singing voice so now I’m writing an audio book with an 80s post punk/dance/pop feel. This era of music has influenced me the most. Days of high school house dance parties getting trashed while dancing to Berlin’s the Metro. I have always felt like I was living in this era as a visitor from an alternate universe but the music from the 80s has always felt like a letter from home. I’ve been going through some mental health issues, this album is a lot of dealing with that so please take it as a trigger warning. I write songs to find control in my life, they might not make sense.

The release date keeps getting pushed back because my living situation keeps changing. As I slowly find stability I promise there is a lot more coming.
